If your wondering what all these films have in common, the answer is. They all star Eddie Murphy, there're all made after the year 2000 and there're all shite.


Meet Dave opened to critical acclaim (19% on Rottern Tomatoes) and a whooping box office return of 5.4 million dollars.

But kudos to him for finding another film he could fit the "Eddie Murphy In, Eddie Murphy In." catchphrase into to...now thats real talent!

Although to be fair to Eddie he's always one to answer his critics. Just after the release of Norbit one reviewer mused. "After this travesty of a film can Murphy sink any lower?" And then only a fleeting year and half later Meet Dave was released.

Although this latest role does show his masterful skill at playing more then one character. In this film alone he plays both a large and SMALL version of himself. Yes Eddie Murphy can not only grow a vagina, ballon by about 10 stone and turn into a insutlingly steotypical chinese man....he can now shrink himself as well. Better start brushing off that acceptance speech Ed!

But spare a thought for poor Martin Lawerence, for years undefeated in the insulting black stereotype pretending to be a woman in a fatsuit competition. Yet i am sure he is up for the challenge.
